MEET ORGANISATION
The SPORTSYSTEMS Meet Organisation Package is the most extensively used system in the UK. It has been used by the ASA for all of it's championships since 1984, it has been adopted by all of the five English Districts and by 32 of the English counties. With the other users from the Scottish, Welsh and Irish Amateur Swimming Associations, along with most of the major clubs the system is used for swim meet management on a regular basis by well over 350 organisations. The system has been used extensively at swim meets ranging from small club to major National and International events with European wide live television coverage

SPORTSYSTEMS has worked actively in the development of the British Age Group Category award system (BAGCATS) and is the only supplier of systems with the authorised British Comparative Points Tables

The Meet Organisation Package comprises a collection of modules which satisfy substantially all of the requirements involved in the organising and running of both Open and Inter Team swim meets. Before the meet the major benefit to the meet organiser is the speed and accuracy of the preparation of the programme of events and competitors cards. On the day of the meet the system ensures maximum accuracy, speedy preparation of results and finalists and optimum throughput of swimmers per session of water time. Results capture may be via the computer keyboard, in the Off-line version, or by direct electronic interface to Omega OSM6 and ARES21, Colorado or Daktronics timing systems.

SPORTSYSTEMS on-line software supports the leading timing systems such as Omega ARES/OSM6, Colorado & Daktronics

Starts List transfer for Omega ARES 21 and Matrix Displays
Modern computer based timing systems have the capability to store starts list information with swimmer's names and to output this to their results print out on a race by race basis. Additionally these systems may transfer this detail, along with race times progress and records breaking status to the large electronic matrix displays or to television
The Starts List output program provides this capability for the Omega ARES 21 swim timing system and it's associated GALACTICA display
The program also generates the start lists as Internet Web Pages or as a text file suitable for re- formatting with a word processor
Moving Message Display Support
The standard Day of Meet module is able to transmit points scoring and special results to a second computer
The Moving Message Display module is available to receive and onward transfer this information to Omega Moving Message displays. This is an especially beneficial feature for major events such as the British Club Team, the Inter Counties and the Swimming League Final, where instant updating of scores adds great value for the spectators and teams
Open Water Results processing
A module is available for Open Water Meets. Open Water competition is very different on the Day of Meet to standard pool based events. It is necessary to record non competing swimmers but allocation to heats and lanes is irrelevant. The time span for swimmers competing the course can be considerable and it is important to be able to report results at any stage after the first few swimmers have finished.
League Final Day of Meet
To suit the special requirements of the Speedo Swimming League Final a meet specific version of the day of meet results processing is available from SPORTSYSTEMS

Call SPORTSYSTEMS for more details of pricing and availability for these optional extra modules.
