There are, however, distinct benefits to be gained by taking advantage of the integrated data transfer between them. For example the ranking system minimises the possibility of incorrect name spelling and date of birth information, by cross checking against the valid list of personal information held within the Membership system. Data may also be entered into the Records files either directly from results created by the Meet Organisation System, or via the keyboard from results sheets or competitors cards.
