What's new in Meet ORGANISATION Revision 4.10

General Revision 4.10 provides support for the requirements of the Amateur Swimming Association's New Approach to Age Group Swimming. This change is being introduced by most of the English Counties from the beginning of 2001, followed by the Districts and at the National Age Groups.

The background to the New Approach to Age Group Swimming is described on the ASA Web Site at www.britishswimming.org

Revision 4.10 has two new modules and associated enhancements to several others.

BAGCAT Reporting Module The new BAGCAT Reporting Module contains all of the features required to support the running of a meet that requires BAG points and BAG Category reporting.

The main features are Meet search and select
Define CDC and/or Grand Prix style categories
Selection of results source and data format
Update and maintain the Meet Best Swim file
Report the total BAG Category awards points in ranked order for each category
Generate text files for the production of Category Certificates via a Word Processor/Mail Merge.
Display the currently selected meet identification
Log file to track progress

Swimmer Personal Details Edit This new module is provided to ensure consistency of personal details when a name, dob or club has been incorrectly entered during the entries input phase. This consistency is essential to ensure that ALL swims against a swimmer are aggregated into the BAG Category Award scores. Editing a swimmer name in one place and not in all others would produce results for two perceived different people.
